SIS History and Philosophy
Since 1969 SIS has set a new standard in our industry. The proof of this is the steady growth of Smith Industrial Service over the past 35 years. The formation of Smith Industrial Service was an outgrowth of an affiliation with Roto-Rooter Plumbing Service of Mobile, Alabama. We are proud to say that this affiliation is still strong. In fact the two companies currently share a state-of-the-art facility on Interstate 65 in Mobile, Alabama. From the early days of Smith Industrial Service to today the company has evolved into one of the most well equipped, innovative, cleaners to cleaning contractors.

Every member of the Smith Industrial Service ownership, management and staff is continually focused on personal safety. Safety is literally job #1. For our clients, that means they have a true partner in meeting all project safety regulations. This creates a safe environment for their employees which reduces risk and therefore liability. SIS has even partnered with an outside safety group to insure an objective overview of methods and practices along with complete compliance and up-to-date training.

Every SIS team member is continually updated as to the specific requirements of our clients and changing industry regulations. All staff members and employees undergo complete drug screening and are randomly tested to assure a drug-free work force. Our weekly safety meetings and on-going training courses help assure our excellent safety record remains in tact.
